About this model

Qwen3.6-35B-A3B is the first open-weight variant of the Qwen3.6 generation, published by the Qwen team in April 2026 under the Apache 2.0 licence. It is a Mixture-of-Experts language model with a vision encoder: 35 billion parameters in total, 3 billion activated per token (8 routed experts and 1 shared out of 256), on a hybrid Gated DeltaNet and Gated Attention layout. It accepts text, images and video. It thinks by default, and a new option keeps reasoning from earlier turns. Native context is 262,144 tokens, extensible to about one million. According to its model card, the release focuses on agentic coding and repository-level reasoning; it reports 73.4 on SWE-bench Verified and 86.0 on GPQA. It suits coding agents and multimodal assistants that need a large context at a small active size. Qwen3.6 27B is the dense model of the same generation.

What its label means

This model is run by a French provider (OVHcloud or Scaleway), in data centres in France. It is not a US company, so the CLOUD Act does not reach it the way it reaches a US provider, and under GDPR a foreign court order is only enforceable in the EU through an international agreement (Article 48). That is the SecNumCloud principle — who controls the operator matters more than where the servers sit — applied as a label, not a qualification: this service is not SecNumCloud-qualified. Our gateway runs in Vercel's Paris region (a US company): your prompts pass through it without being stored.
