Terms of service for Frontière AI (FLEECE AI SASU): prepaid usage-based billing, API key responsibility, acceptable use, and service levels.

In short
Frontière AI is a prepaid, usage-based API gateway to open-source models, operated by FLEECE AI SASU. There is no subscription: you load credit, you pay for what you call, and when your balance reaches zero the API stops — nothing is billed after the fact. These terms describe the relationship between you (a company or an individual) and Frontière AI when you use the service at getfrontiereai.eu.
Accounts and API keys
Your account is created on your first sign-in. You are responsible for every API key issued to your account and for all usage made with it — protect them, and revoke a key immediately if you believe it has been compromised. Access to your account is personal; you may create as many API keys as you need, and you can revoke them at any time from the dashboard. When you close your account, remaining credit is not refunded except where the law requires it (see Billing).
Prepaid billing
Credit is purchased in advance and consumed per API call, priced per model and per token as displayed in the model catalog at the time of the call. There is no subscription, no recurring charge, and no card on file: when your balance hits zero, calls return a 402 and nothing else happens. Unused credit does not expire. If you close your account, remaining credit is retained on file for 12 months so you can reopen and keep using it; after that period it is forfeited. Prices are shown in euros and exclude VAT where applicable. Invoices are available in the billing section of your dashboard.
What the service does and does not guarantee
Frontière AI routes your requests to upstream model providers (OVHcloud, Scaleway, dedicated servers, and fast-access providers) and returns their responses. We guarantee the availability and accuracy of the gateway itself, but model outputs are generated by third-party models: we do not warrant the correctness, safety, or fitness of any generated content for your use, and you are responsible for what you build on top of the API. Sovereignty labels (EU sovereign / fast access) describe the jurisdiction of the infrastructure that serves a model; they are factual statements about routing, not a legal opinion.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the API to: (1) generate content that violates applicable law, including in your jurisdiction and in the EU where our infrastructure is located; (2) reverse engineer, resell, or provide multi-tenant access to the gateway without a written agreement; (3) probe, attack, or interfere with the service or its upstream providers; (4) impersonate another customer. We may suspend an account that breaches these rules, and we will contact you first unless the breach is an active attack or a legal demand.
Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount of credit you purchased during the 3 months preceding the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect damages (lost profits, lost data, business interruption). This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service changes. Material changes will be announced on this page and by email to account holders at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
